  • What kind of photo is needed?
Front-facing, close up-high quality images with good lighting work best! Remember, the more detail in the photo, the better the final portrait will be! If you are not sure, send an email prior to ordering if your photo will work. Keep in mind, the artwork comes out exactly like the photo but in a watercolor style! Feel free to upload a few images and Tiffany will always choose the best one! The level of detail in a photo plays a vital role in creating an exquisite portrait. When it comes to capturing your pet's unique features, such as their expressive eyes, cute nose, and overall facial expression, having a sharp and focused photo is essential. To ensure the best possible outcome for your pet portrait, it is highly recommended to provide a clear and in-focus photo. Unfortunately, working from blurry or unclear photos can limit Tiffany's ability to accurately capture your pet's likeness and expression. So, when selecting a photo for your pet portrait, choose one that showcases the finest details and accurately represents your pet's features. This will ensure that the artist can create a stunning and lifelike portrayal that truly captures your furry friend's essence.

  • Can I have multiple animals in the artwork?
Yes. Tiffany never charges extra for multiple pets in the same photo. However, more often, it is hard to get two animals sitting side by side. For an additional fee, Tiffany offers an option to "blend" two or three photos into one piece. Take a look at Moxey and Finn, which was created by blending two photos. Moxey was Tiffany's first dog, she got Finn after her passing and combined two photos into one. Notice, how the dogs are sitting in similar positions and are both front-facing, in outdoor lighting. *The most animals one piece of artwork should have is 3 to 4. This keeps the artwork balanced and prevents too much crowding.

  • Is the artwork hand painted?
All artwork is created digitally, which produces a watercolor style. Every portrait is printed on high-quality watercolor textured paper. Anything larger than 8.5X11 ships in mailing tubes. Digital watercolor pet portraits offer several advantages that make them an appealing choice for pet owners and art enthusiasts: Customization: Just like traditional watercolor portraits, digital watercolor pet portraits can be fully customized to capture the unique characteristics and personality of your beloved pet. Artists can use digital brushes and techniques to create intricate details, such as fur texture and expressive eyes, resulting in a realistic and lifelike portrayal. Versatility: Digital art allows for greater flexibility and experimentation. Artists can easily adjust colors, add or remove elements, and make revisions without affecting the original artwork. This versatility enables them to create personalized compositions that reflect your vision and preferences. High-Quality Reproductions: Digital artwork can be easily reproduced in various formats and sizes without losing quality. This means you can have your digital watercolor pet portrait printed on canvas, paper, or other mediums to display in your home or share as gifts with family and friends. Time Efficiency: Compared to traditional watercolor techniques, digital art offers a quicker turnaround time. Artists can work efficiently using digital tools, resulting in faster completion of your pet portrait while still maintaining the same level of detail and artistic quality. Preservation: Digital artwork is not susceptible to fading, aging, or deterioration over time. This ensures that your digital watercolor pet portrait will remain vibrant and intact for years to come, preserving the memory of your beloved pet in pristine condition. When commissioning a digital watercolor pet portrait, it's essential to choose a skilled digital artist who specializes in this style. They will possess the expertise to capture the essence of your pet and create a beautiful and personalized artwork that truly captures their spirit.
