Maintain control over your dog:
Ensure that your dog is under your control at all times during the group activity. Use a sturdy leash and harness to have a secure grip on your dog and prevent any unexpected incidents.
No extended (retractable) leashes:
Avoid using extended leashes during group activities. These leashes can make it difficult to maintain control over your dog and can create entanglement risks with other dogs or pedestrians. Opt for a standard fixed-length leash instead.
No females in heat:
To prevent any potential conflicts or disturbances, it is important not to bring female dogs in heat to event. This helps maintain a calm and controlled environment for all participants.
Keep a safe distance between others:
Respect the personal space and boundaries of other participants and their dogs. Keep a reasonable distance between your dog and others to avoid unnecessary interactions or potential conflicts. This also allows everyone to enjoy each other comfortably.

There are also many benefits to pack walking:

Helps build confidence in pups, this is especially great for shy and anxious dogs
Provides mental stimulation
It teaches them proper leash walking and pacing
Fosters socialization in a structured manner

Respect the group leader's instructions: If a designated group leader is present, follow their instructions and guidance during the pack walk. They may provide important information, route directions, or guidelines to ensure the safety and smooth running of the activity. Remember, group pack walks are an opportunity for socialization, exercise, and enjoyment for both dogs and owners. By adhering to these rules, you contribute to a positive and harmonious experience for everyone involved.
